Cooperative planning procedure with subcontracting for the preparation of the B-plan with prof. Alex Wall /KIT/ Charlottesville University of Virginia [2010-2012]
Recycling the city – the revitalisation of the Stephan area in Bad Cannstatt. An appropriate subsequent use for the vacated building yard which is the Stephan area has been sought since the end of the 1990s. A foundation for the future project development is to be created through the cooperative planning process in cooperation with the designs of the planning team, their property management perspective and through feedback with an advisory group consisting of property owners, policy, administration and residents. In order to do justice to the integration in the surrounding development and use, it was the objective of the urban development design and the assignment of the B-plan to accommodate a utilisation with a ratio of 40% residential space and 60% commercial space.
